the only marking i saw was "caradco" The window was installed around 25 years ago.Everything works. but when the window is full closed you can keep turning the handle until it comes out. I'm selling the house and the buyer wants this fixed.

Thanks for posting, John. I see that the worm gear is showing in the handle crank; I'm afraid this means that the entire operator is worn down and has to be replaced. We can help you do this. The best thing to do would be to remove the operator from the window and provide a picture of it in its entirely, including the link arm(s). A bird's eye view is usually best. We should be able to then recommend a new operator, crank handle, and so forth. Thanks!
