Problem with Malta bathroom window lever

Handy Person from Whittier NC
I have a Malta bathroom window that has a lever at the bottom of the frame to extend the top pivoting window out at a 45 degree angle. When closing the window the right side corner does not pull in completely like the left side! Does the window have an adjustment for this problem?

Hello, thank you for posting,

To further review, we will need to see picture of the lever and the hardware that the window uses. We will need to see the window open where we can see the arm attachment(s). From there we can get a better idea of the style you have to determine if we can properly assist. Thank you!

Thank you,

I am going to consult with one of our senior experts to determine if replacing the operator will fix this issue or if it could be a different problem causing it. I will be in contact as soon as more information is available. Thank you for your patience!

Hello,

It could be that the window frame has settled and is out of square. However first remove the operator from the window and try operating the window by hand to see if it will close properly. Also check the hinges on the sides of the window to see if they are binding or are worn out. Take a look at the related videos from the website to see if they will help you to solve this issue.

Let us know what you find!
