Problems with 82-306

A quick learner from USA says:
Supporting info:
Door thickness:1-1/16"
Mounting screw spacing: 3-15/16"
Problem Statement: 82-306 exterior pull doesn't close to my door thickness of 1-1/16" with my existing internal pull. Everything fits except the key barrel is too long and bottoms out on the internal pull barrel before it can close to door. thickness.
Solution:
1)Swap out key barrel that came with the 82-306 pull for a 1-1/16" barrel that fits the 82-306.
2)Get a new interior and exterior pull set with lick that works with a 1-1/16" thick door.
3)Cut 5/16" off my existing internal pull barrel length so it can't bottom out until door thickness.

Take a look at the 82-303 key cylinder to see if you could use this type to fit into your existing exterior handle. It has a shorter barrel housing and might be the type you already show in your photos. Take note you will need to cut the tail on the 82-303 to fit the door thickness you have.
