Second Arm Measurement for 39-220B

Question

On your e-mail you suggested I compare the measurements of 39-220B to my mount operator. I found the measurement for the arm at the base on your page, however, It doesn't give me the measurement of the arm that is attached to that one. As you know the arm has 2 pieces. The one at the base is 4 7/8 but what's the measurement of the longer piece.

Hello, Marilyn. The arm you mention is what we here at the shop refer to as a "gear arm," since it has a gear built into it. I just ran in back and measured a 39-220B for you. Measuring from the center of the gear to the end of the gear arm, I got 4-1/2". I'm not sure if you measured yours from the center of the gear or not, but if not give it a try and let me know how it compares.
