The dimensions of my door shows a 1" distance between the slots where this bottom goes. Is this the measurement for this product?

If these dimensions do not match your original. We also carry the 58-176 for your review. This style wraps around the bottom of the door and installs on the side with screws. This sweep is compatible with 1-3/4" thick doors.
