Product code 40-152 does cover old mounting holes

Question

First allow me to commend you/r company for such a fast turnaround with this order - very impressive!

Unfortunately, the face plate on the item I ordered 40-152 (despite posting on the internet) did not cover the top drill hole in the door (see attached jpeg), used by the original handle.

My intent was to replace the original handle (see jpeg 2) (mounted on a Col Sewell Storm door model: 072699960-17-0039), without the need to drill out/modify the door and door jam/frame.

Is there any product you offer that might have the same dimensions for the mechanism opening, but with an extended back plate? Do you sell a decorative "cap" that I could insert in the hole above your handle if I choose to keep the item?

Thanks for contacting  us! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Unfortunately, we don't have a handle set that would cover that hole. One idea would be to install a white head screw or pop rivet in the hole. Another would be to elongate the lock holes up so you could move the handle set up just enough to cover that hole, but that might be tricky.
