Proper Spiral balance

Question

Looking to replace a couple spiral balances. Would like help identifying the right strength of balance model (tip color). My balances do not have any markings on them. I believe my balances my still be okay but I would like to purchase new. My windows were installed without stops, so I believe we have been over traveling the window and have popped the balance off the glides bottoming out the blances.

Balance stats:
Body length 33"
Window weight 40 lbs.
Width on body is at 1/2", would 5/8" be correct assumption.

Thanks for posting! It sounds like you may have something like our Series 600 spiral balance. With your length, it would be S600-33. However, we don't have any tips that would support your sash weight so this would have to be a custom order.
