Proper release levers for 26-155 tilt latch

Handy Person from Pennsylvania
My deceased father had vinyl replacement windows installed 20 yrs ago and I do not remember the brand or company. Part 26-155 and 91-003 look like the parts I need however my sash release levers are slightly different. The size of the internal window latch is 2 3/4 x 3/4. Are these the parts I need?

I can't say for sure if the 26-155 is correct. Is there any way we can see pictures of your hardware? I would like to see the internal window latch and the sash release lever you have now. Please also verify whether the size of the prongs on the 26-154 have the same measurements as yours. If they do not, tell me how they differ.

I did find the measurements of 26-155 on one of the pictures. The thickness of the part I am looking for is 3/8", not 5/16". I realize this isn't much and I do have some wiggle room in the frame. Otherwise, the parts I am looking for look exactly like your pictures. I did also find 2 tags inside the frame with MC2DHBS, MC2DHFR, and 072198-33A printed. The only other number was 1642219.007 which I was told was probably the order number.

Hmm... I'm afraid those numbers don't help. For the thumb lever itself, don't worry about its shape or thickness. The only measurement that matters is the size of the prongs that install into the tilt latch itself. As you can see in the image below, the 26-154 prongs are 5/16" long and have a spacing of 3/4". As long as yours is the same, it doesn't really matter what shape or size the top part is.

The prongs are 1/2" rather than the 3/4" and 1/4" rather than 5/16" but I think this has more to do with the internal latch I am using. I will try to send the scanned images with this.

Ah, I see. I'm afraid we don't have an exact match for this latch. To be honest, you may be better off substituting with a surface mount tilt latch. These are different than the others in that they just screw on. We have a video tutorial that shows how we do this. We find it to be an easier solution for sashes like yours. Let me know what you think!
