We'd be happy to help but we would need to see your balance assembly fully removed from the window, including the fitting attached to the opposite end of the metal channel, to compare to our inventory. Thank you! 

The fittings are the nylon pieces attached to both ends of your metal channel, which we will need to see fully removed from the window to identify a possible replacement. 

Thanks for getting back to us Peggy. We're on the right track but, unfortunately, we can't confirm the correct replacement for your balance until we see the top fitting as well. Since your balance appears to be detached from the window, you should be able to pull it out of the bottom of the window with the sash raised.

Sounds good Peggy. Keep in mind that you should still be able to reinstall the sash in the frame, even without the balances installed. You just wouldn't be able to open the window until the balances are replaced.
