At times the mortise hooks do not engage with the latch. The patio door looks locked but it can be opened. Additionally, at other times when attempting to engage the mortise hooks they do not engage all the way as if they are striking the latch and go no further. The anti slam button is activated.

HELP!!!

Thanks for reaching out to us! It sounds like you may need to replace the keeper in the door. I'm happy to recommend a replacement for it but I'll need to see a photo of the existing keeper to identify the correct match.

Thanks for the photo. Your keeper seems to be a match for the 82-249 Sliding Glass Door Multi-Point Keeper. That said, you may need to adjust the keeper in the door and/or adjust the hooks on the mortise lock to fix the issue.
