Quaker double hung window

A quick learner from Gering, ne says:
These Quaker double hung windows were put in in 2000. This part is where the bottom sash hooks into so you can RIP sash out to wash the outside from the inside of the house.

Hi- thanks for posting!

It's hard to tell while it is still installed in the window. Can we see a photo of it removed from the window along with some dimensions possibly? This will give us a better idea as to what replacement to recommend.

A quick learner from Gering, ne says:
The plastic holder is 1.25 in x 2.5 in. The cam is 5/8 in. The plastic shoe is ok I just need some cams if they come seperate.

In terms of width, this shoe is similar to our 15-188 and 15-178. However you did not give thickness, which is the only difference between these two products. Carefully go over our dimensions to determine the better match.

No, I'm afraid the cams are only sold inside of shoe housings.

Can a person just get the cam only

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Yep, the width and thickness are the two most important dimensions. Length doesn't matter so much, since there's plenty of room in the window for it.

Once you have your thickness, carefully go over our 15-188 and 15-178 to determine which is the better match. If neither match your thickness, let me know and we will try to find something better.

A quick learner from Gering, ne says:
so you just need the thickness size to determine what shoe I need, since you already have the width and length?
