Question on removal technique

I purchased the replacement crank, but do no have enough room to turn the screwdriver 90 degrees. Are the any tricks or suggestions to remove the crank without cutting or drilling the wood?

Hello,

Unfortunately, there are no tricks to access the installation screws that attach the operator base to the sill. You would need to remove the wood trim piece to replace the operator. The general process is shown in our video below. Take a look and thanks for posting!
