Question regarding hinge 32-101

Question

I need to know the measurement for the flat part of the hinge that hooks on the door. There are three holes I am trying to line up with existing holes. The measurement I am getting is 7/8" center to center. Will hinge 32-101 line up? Thank you.

Thanks for contacting SWISCO. In fact there is a good chance the hole spacing on the flap will be different. The manufacturer of this particular hinge switched from manufacturing the part in Japan to making it in China. When this happened, the flap became shorter, and therefore the hole spacing is a bit narrower than the original piece (closer to 3/4" an inch). Therefore it's possible you will need to drill new holes to install this piece.
