Questions about replacement balances

A landlord from lakewood, oh says:
we need replacement balances for a window
it is about 1/2"=5/8"?
22" long with a blue tip
you do not offer the blue tip option when ordering.
does it matter? What is the difference in tip colors?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You do not mention which balance you are looking at on SWISCO but from your questions I believe you are looking at the S600-22 spiral balance for a tilt window.

The diameter for the S600-22 tube measures 9/16" but is considered 5/8" in the trade. There is an option to choose a blue tip (the tip color options are found right above the 'add to basket' button on the product page).

The different colored tips represent the strength of the window balance. You should replace your spiral window balances with the same colored tip as the ones currently installed in your windows.
