Question

Part # on 1980 andersen window sash mechanicism j7 5#23 984.
what part do i want now?

Also will the clips on a replacement screen (Andersen) be in the same place as the old one to be fasten to the window.

Thanks for posting, Jim. Please take a look at our 24-531 Andersen Sash Balance, which can be used to replace balances with the stamp 523.

As for your clips, they will fit into the cut out of the screen.
