internal tilt latches

I have at least three vinyl single hung windows manufactured by American Window Company and purchased/installed in 1995. The internal tilt latches are broken on some of them so they can be be a safety risk if unlocked and/or in the raised position.

I have no pictures with the parts removed.

I don't know how I would go about replacing them because they are internal, or if you have parts that would fit. I'm pretty good at this stuff, but don't want to fool around with it unless I have some advice.
