Questions regarding 10-325 sweep

A quick learner from NY says:

Is this made from aluminum? If not, please advise metal type.

How many fastener slots does this have?

My existing door doesn't have fasteners or fastener holes for a sweep. Would self-drilling stainless steel screws be appropriate for mounting this sweep?

Thanks!

Thanks for contacting us. The 10-325 drip rail is made of anodized aluminum. There are two holes 4" from each end of the aluminum channel, though you may need to redrill them depending on where the holes are in your door frame. You will need to use a 7/64" drill bit to make the holes. Take note make sure when drilling you do not drill into the glass! I like to use the 33-071 screw.
