R30842 Entry Gard Operator and Stud Bracket

Question

Hi there --

Would you confirm that the 39-032 part is the proper replacement for this operator? I'm especially concerned about the up-offset that I can't see in the pictures on the website, though we are installing a new clip mount. The original part we are replacing is missing (plus clip mount) but the picture is of the same side window in another part of the house. Many thanks for any help you can provide!

Hello,

I agree that your operator resembles the 39-032 as long as the dimensions below match up to yours, paying close attention to the length of the link arm. With that being said, The link arm has a downward offset. This could still work to replace your operator with an upward offset but the arm will need to be manipulated to attach to the bracket, which can be tricky. Take a look and see what you think.
