We need to replace 7 of the Awning operators. We think the awning operator is the same as your Nu-aire RH awning operator 39-278 (based on the patent numbers found on the old operator (see attachment photos).
Question:
1. Do you have the dimensions of the 39-278 so that I can compare?
2. The end of the of link bar that attaches to the awing windows does not have a drilled hole. Refer to the photos attached. It has what looks like a threaded piece and metal bushing. What parts do we need to order to attach the 39-278 to our awning windows?
Thanks, Kathy

The size of the link arm doesn't have to be exact. They're designed to have some play, so you can get away with a difference like that. I'm more concerned about the mounting hole spacing. There is no such play with those measurements. I would double check yours to see if maybe you could still get ours to work. |
