Rail and bottom pivot bracket

Home Owner from Ellensburg
Hi, I need to find a rail/upper brackets and bottom pivot brackets that will work with 2 different set of wood, bifold doors.

(Full louver) The upper pivot pin is 1/4" and roller is 3/4" or 13/16" and the bottom plastic pin is 3/8" (bottom), 5/8" (top).

(Half louder) The upper pivot pin is 1/4" and the roller is 7/8" and the bottom pivot pin is 1/4".

Appreciate your help!

Hey there, thanks for reaching out to us. I see that you have different pivot pins and guides on your two bifold doors: a full louver door and a 1/2 louver door. I'll address them one at a time.

Looks like your full louver door has the older style pins, similar to our 23-125, 23-126 and the 23-127. The bad news is that don't carry the original top track and bottom brackets for these older style parts anymore. One possible option is to use the 23-509 track along with the 23-301 bottom bracket. These may be compatible with your existing guides, though that doesn't necessarily mean they'll be compatible with the application as a whole. These aren't strictly meant to work with your existing guides so I can't predict how they'll interact.

Next, on your 1/2 louver door, you have the newer style pivot pins like you might see in a bifold door track kit such as our 23-504. I honestly think this kit should be applicable for this door, or some of the other kits I associated on this page (depending on length). Look them over and see what you think.

You may be able to convert your full louver door to use one of these newer style kits, but you will need to drill a larger hole in the door to accept the new hardware which all have a pin "sleeve" at 7/16" diameter. This is larger than your existing style pin sleeve at 3/8" diameter. It's a little more work but if you don't mind that then it could make your life easier, long term. It's up to you.
