Ray-Dor Patio door handle

Question

Original Ray-Dor - from Wichita KS. Surface mount handle with hook. Handle screws are 3 5/16 inches but the latch hole is off center - top screw to middle of hook hole is roughly 1.5 and bottom screw to mid hook hole is roughly 2.5. See picture. I have tried a few handles from the box stores/amazon and they don't fit, I have to force the lock and it breaks.

Unfortunately I threw away the original handle thinking the replacement was working.

I'm afraid that without the original handle on hand as a reference, I can't be sure what will work for you. Based on the hole spacing, you may have something like our 82-003, but this is just an educated guess. Truth be told, you have an older style door and the exact handle may not be made anymore. You may have needed the original handle to take parts from to get newer models to work, which is something I often find is necessary.

Either way, start by looking at the 82-003 and see if this will serve as a replacement for your old door handle.
