Hi there!

Before I recommend anything, can you write out the size of the opening that accepts the track?

Thank you!

One inch is the inside measurement.

Thanks for confirming. Your old socket looks like the Merillat brand part, which has been discontinued for years now. We have no direct replacement but our 32-119 should work well. I've had a ton of customers tell me that it works perfectly fine to replace the old Merillat part. Just note that ours screws to the back wall of the cabinet, so you will need to drill new holes.

Ok. Thank you. I'll get a couple. One goes, the others are sure to follow. Do you have any idea how to remove the old marillat one?

It should just plug in and out. Come to think of it, though, we have seen these glued in place once or twice before. That's always an issue; there isn't much you can do about that. If that's the scenario that you're in then I would recommend contacting a local hardware store to see if they can offer a solution that wouldn't damage the back wall of your cabinet.

I appreciate all your help. We will see what happens!
Have a wonderful Christmas!
