Recessed Door Offset Pivot Set

I wanted to ask about how to determine what size of RECESSED DOOR OFFSET PIVOT SET I would need to purchase for my door. There is a 7/64 and a 1/8 size. Is there a way to determine what size my current door has so I could determine the right set. I also don't know the brand of my door but it has the same pivot mechanism, are these pivots universal. Thank you.
