How do you connect a lever arm operator to the 39-170?

Hello! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble. I'll do my best to advise how the 39-070 operator is meant to work with the 39-170 bracket.

After you install the 39-070 operator and the two 39-170 brackets to your window, follow these 3 steps:

  1. Unlock the bracket opening on operator using the metal latch beside the slots.
  2. Open the operator arms wide enough so that the cross-arm aligns with the bracket, then insert the bracket prongs into the slots.
  3. Lock the bracket by flipping the metal latch the other way.

If the brackets or operator do not match up to the original hardware, please reply to this discussion with detailed photos and measurements for us to research the proper replacement parts for you.

I just recieved 39-070 lever lock operator from swisco, truth part 3008. Your catalog recommended the 39-170 sash bracket with the number '2008' stamped in it. I cannot see how it will work for this lever-lock, and I don't see another bracket in the catalog that looks like it will.

Big problem for me. Please advise immediately.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't realize that operator needs two brackets.
So I need two more of the 39-170 brackets.
