Regarding order for roller

Question

Hi,
I received my order today and there is a slight difference between the existing and the new rollers. Can you assist in correcting this problem?

These are for a Care-Free - General Aluminum Products Inc., Charlotte, Michigan, sliding patio door.

Attached are pictures of the manufacturer name plate and the existing roller and new roller side-by-side with the problem area highlighted.

Yes, the flare looks like a 'D'.

The flares look like they are the same size, just in different locations.
The location is significant because it is what locks the roller into the door frame. See attached photo showing the notch in the door frame that does not align with the flare on the new roller. When the roller is slid into the door frame it should lock into place with the notch.

Is this the only option in this family / category of roller? Is there anything else similar in what you carry?

I would recommend starting by taking a look at the 81-058 roller shown below. The dimensions are a bit different from the 81-288, but the locking tab seems to be in the correct location.
