Regarding stamp option and shoe size

Question

I have a channel balance with a stamp that reads 26 3 BX CMC 11. I measured it and it is 27" long. The series that closely matches it is 385.  The bottom shoe is between 1" & 1 3/32" and measures 1.065" so I'm guessing that I need the 1 3/32 bottom shoe? How do I know which sash weight to specify?

Yes, our 1-3/32" shoe is likely your best bet. I would wager that was your size originally and that it simply wore down a little over the years with use.

As for the option, a stamp of "26 3" usually corresponds to our 2630, but you can always weigh your sash to be sure.
