Removal of Interior Friction Corner Keys

Dear Swisco,

I have ordered 6 of your 95-002 corner keys to replace two existing corner keys in a slider screen door window. These two corner keys broke into two pieces and require replacement. I am having a trouble removing the remaining corner key parts where I can not get a screw drive tip on the end clip. Questions:

1. What is the proper way to remove these corner keys without breaking them?

2. Once broken how can they be removed? Where the sliding window latches are, I can NOT access the end clip of the corner key.
