Your 23-215 would be either screwed in or held in by the tabs. First, remove the closet door and place it on a stable surface. Now, if it's screwed in, simply unscrew it. If it's held in by the tabs, however, you will have to work them out with a pair of needle-nose pliers.

The problem is that with the bottom assembly hooked in the track, I can't get the door to come off. How do I release the hooks in the bottom assembly to be able to lift the door off the track at the top? bottom assembly dsh20-121

What you need to do it to use two stiff putty knives or two flat screw drivers. Loosen up the adjustment screw and have someone hold up the door. With your two putty knives, place one in the front and one in the back of the guide. Press the guide front to back to disengage it from the track and lift it out of the track with the putty knives.
