Removal and installation for the 23-090

A quick learner says:

I just purchased #23-090, the Bypassing Door Top Guide Bracket because the plastic broke on my current one. However, I have no idea how to remove the old one & replace the new one. Can anyone who has done this give me tips please?

Hello,

The 23-090 is held in by the tabs you see sticking out of the housing. You will need to firmly work the old one out using needle nose pliers; there's no trick to this, it just takes patience. You can then insert the new one in the same slots where the old one went. Thanks for posting!
