Hello,

We do not have instructions showing the 26-350 but see the video below showing the replacement process for internal tilt latches. Look it over and let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!

I've already watched that video and it would seem not relevant to the 26-350. They are different designs, with a very different top mechanism.

Although the video shows a different style latch, the replacement process would be similar since they are also internal latches. You will have to remove the top part of your sash, slide out the old latch, and slide in the replacement. When the top part of the sash is back in place, you will snap in the finger lever.

can you explain how to snap the finger lever off of the old one?

See the twin prongs on the finger lever shown below that snap into the body of the tilt latch. You can use a putty knife under the finger lever to un-snap it from the tilt latch body. Use caution since the prongs might break because of UV sunlight or wear on the tilt latch.
