Remove track?

A handy person from Moneta, VA says:
Good Afternoon,
The track is completely worn out and I've been told by two individuals that this track cannot be replaced because it is an integral part of the door frame itself. They do, however, suggest replacing the the door for $2,000!

Although I have not removed the doounit to check, I do not see any attaching screws. From this picture, what is your guess?

In advance, thank you for your advice.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Hello, Brian. I hate to say it, but it does look like your track is part of the threshold. Unless there is some detail I'm missing I don't see an easy way to remove it, if it's even possible.

If the only issue is that the track is worn out, though, then you may be able to get away with a track cover like our 80-102. These are used on worn or dented tracks to help give them a nice even roll again. The video below will go into more detail as to how these work.
