Removing Truth Crank covers

Hi - I need to do some work on my Truth cranks, but I'm not sure how to get the plastic covers (39-107) off without breaking them. They don't seem to want to come off easily. and I'm afraid I'll crack them if I'm not doing it right. Suggestions? Thanks!

First, take a look at our video below, which shows you the best method of removing a casement operator.
Now, after removing the operator handle, the 39-107 should come off with a little "wiggling." It could be that it's held on by some glue or polyurethane used in the manufacturing of the window.
