Removing old turn clips from screen

Question

I am replacing broken turn clips(number 70-014 )but how do I remove the broken ones that are on the screen. Also What additional items do I need to purchase to install them

You can try to drill it out, or use a type of diagonal/side cutter pliers to cut off the clip and rivet head, since sometimes it just spins when you try to drill it out. After the rivet and clip is removed check the hole to see if it is too large to accept the new rivet. The hole can get large when trying to remove the old clip. You might need to drill a new 1/8" hole close to the original location.
