How do you remove this lock handle?

I am trying to remove the handle but I cannot seem to get to the inside of the window. I see 2 screws on the inside, but the handle is broken and is making this difficult. Please let me know of any assistance in removing this handle and getting the window to open.

You will have to open the window to get to the screws, because they are screwed in from the back of the window lock. Can you try to push the broken handle of the lock back into place and try to unlock the window? You could possibly force a screw driver into the lock and turn it, though I know from experience it's not an easy fix.

On our casement, the 38-095 lock was broken with the window in the locked position. I simply inserted a thin (1/16" to 1/8") flat bar between the window and the frame, above the lock area, and gently tapped it downward with a hammer until the window popped free. Took 5 seconds.

That's great advice! The guide video below covers this topic, as well. Hopefully this information is helpful to customers in the future.
