I have a 1999 Forest River Park model home. I can't find any info on the window balancers. The pictures show the internal workings of the balance, it was housed in a thin plastic square tube 1/2×1/2 inch that broke into a zillion pieces trying to take out. The square tube measured 30 inches, the tube measure's 29 1/4 x 1/4 inch. The spring is 13 5/8 inch long by 1/2 inch dia.
Not sure on the order of the yellow parts for sure on the tube, the top black part hooks to the spring and is fastened to the top with a screw. Bottom is fastened to the bottom of tube with a string going to the fitting shown on the other end of the string. The window has metal tabs on the bottom to fit this fitting for tilting out sash. Can you help me out for a replacement? Im going to need balancers for several windows.
Thanks
Bob

Hi, Bob.
It looks like you have an old rod type balance that is no longer made, but take a look at our S775 channel balance as a replacement. You'll just need to measure the bottom nylon shoe and weigh your window sash to choose the appropriate spring strength option. There's a chart on the S775's product page that will show you which option you'll need based on the weight of your sash.
