Replace American Craftsman Coil Balance

Question

Need to replace this coil balancer. (Do we ever replace with spiral balances?)
Window is a double hung, American Craftsman.
Coil holder reads 9.0 lbs
I don't find a T ended coil in your catalog.
Need all parts, 2 sets.

Hello there. We do not recommend replacing one type of balance system with another (e.g., coil balances with spiral balances). Fortunately, we have the coil balance system you need. There are three components you will need in order to replace this system. Take a look at our 15-228 pivot shoe, S160-9 coil spring, and 15-150S coil spring cover. Carefully compare each part and its measurements to each product code mentioned to see if these could be used in your window.
