Replace Kinro balance springs

Question

Hi

We have Kinro balance stamped 26 3 in a bedroom window. Home is 2001. My wife and I are arthritic , but want to make sure the window stays open. I believe the S385 27 matches ours, but don't know what spring tension to order.

We have other Kinro windows that are hard to open and close.do you have any suggestions to help open these windows, especially the kitchen window 45" over sink.

The videos are great. I feel confident in replacing balance spring when they arrive.

Hi Bert. Usually a balance with a stamp of "26 3" means that you can go with the 2630 option.
