Replace Milgard Coil Balancers

Question

Hi there,

I need to replace two coil balancers on the upper window section of my double hung Milgard Window.

I haven't been able to locate them by photo on your website. The plastic housing has a serial or model number on the side, but is partially obscured by the track it sits in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for posting! I am confident we can supply you with the replacements needed for your coil balance assemblies but I'll need to see a photo of them completely removed from the window. Most importantly, I am looking to see a photo of the pivot shoe, which you will need to have removed to compare the dimensions.

You'll also need to remove the coil springs to confirm the thickness of the coil and to look for any stamps/markings on the metal. If your coils do not have stamps or they are hard to read, I'll need to know the exact weight of the sash.
