Replace Rigid window Crank with Folding Window Crank.

Question

Hello Swisco,

I am putting blinds on my windows and would like to replace my existing casement window crank with a folding crank, as the existing cranks stick out and will be in the way of the blinds.

Do you think your Truth Folding Handle with Cover will work for my situation? I realize that I may need to cut a piece of wood to support the uneven area where it will attach. Do you think my gear socket looks consistent with your product (See pics)?

I am afraid I don't believe the 39-375 and 39-376 or similar crank & handle kits will work for you because the cover on your existing operator likely cannot be removed, nor will these new ones fit this type of mechanism. Instead see our 39-205 or 39-102 T Handle. So long as the spline of your existing spline is 11/32" in diameter, either of these options could work.
