Replace Simonton Slider door handle

Question

I ordered what I thought were replacement parts and they do not work. I ordered from you the 82-218 Mortise lock, round and the 82-089 Legacy Handle Set 3 15/16" (white). Order #2375580. As you can see, the tail piece is placed in a different location on the new set compared to my old set. Will you please advise which set I should buy, is this the correct mortise lock? May I exchange the handle set for the correct one (I have not cut anything). Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out to us! The 82-218 indeed looks like it could be a match based on what I can see from it in your last photo. If you haven't already, you'll want to compare the specifications to confirm they align.

As for the handle set, we recommend the 82-030 since the thumb lever is centered on your old handle. I'm afraid we don't offer exchanges but you can find our return policy here.
