Your lockset looks like a good match for our 82-002. The bad news is that these are not designed to use an exterior handle in any way, shape, or form. Only an interior pull like our 88-002 can be used.

I know that's not the news you wanted to here, but that's just how these doors are designed. You're also stuck using this type of lockset because of its shape; when you remove it from the door, it leaves a huge rectangular hole in the door that prevents anything else from installing in its place.

Hello. The door goes from house to a covered porch. What's broken is the inside handle. Do I need to order both 82-002 & 88-002?

If the interior pull is the only thing that broke, then you should be fine with just the 88-002 pull.

However if part of the locking mechanism itself is broken or just not working properly, then you should consider the 82-002 as well. Since you have to remove the screws anyway to get the pull off, it might not be a bad idea to remove the lockset and check to make sure the internal locking mechanism is functional. Any damage should be very obvious at a glance.
