Replace crank handle

Home Owner from Nashville TN
The crank handle of an awning window has come out and cannot seem to stay.  The crews may be stripped.  The window is original to my house which was built around 1991.  We plan to replace all of the windows but I would like to limp along a bit more with this one.  The only numbers or lettering I found was on the underneath side of the handle.  Sandy Spitz

Hello there. Yes, when that gear pops out with the handle, it means the entire awning window operator has broken down and should be replaced. I believe this operator might be the 39-348, but please compare with the dimensions below to confirm. For a new handle, see the 39-114L sold separately. Let me know if you have further questions!

Looks like the bar attached to the window is 26-3/4.

See the 36-078B Awning Operator Track. This works with the 39-348.
