Replace current lock with external lock

Question

I would like to replace my current slider handle with internal lock to one that has an external key lock as well. I think the 82-086 is my best bet. Can you confirm? Also wanting to make sure that part can pull the door open (internally) from the left.

Hello! The 82-086 should work for you, yes. Just note that its thumb lever is fixed in the bottom position and cannot be adjusted. Yours looks to be in the bottom position so it should be fine, but it's good to double check just in case.

The 82-086 can work on either the left or right side interchangeably, you'd just have to unscrew the pull from the base plate and flip it around.
