Replace hardware for 20810. & 31538

A home owner from Greenwood, IN says:

The worm screw does not stay seated and so it will open but not close the window. To close the window I can turn it counter clock-wise and pull it in. I notice that the screw worm wants to come out. May all it needs is a retainer clip. The teeth on gears appear to be good. The screw worm looks worn.

Thank you for your help.

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Hello,

If the issue is the worm gear, then the entire operator needs to be replaced. Take a look at our 39-031 and 39-032 Entrygard operators and see how the dimensions compare to yours. Thanks for posting!
