Replace multi-point lock

I want to replace the multi-point lock but the lock is broken while the window is closed. How do I open the window to change the multi-point lock?

I'm afraid there's no easy solution for this. You could try manually throwing the lock with a screwdriver, but if that doesn't work you will need to find some way to cut it out. I highly recommend hiring a local contractor for further assistance.
