I now have to use my patio door as a main entrance and want to lock and unlock from outside with a key.
Will this product work with my existing latch on sliding door?
I think the brand of the entire sliding glass door is "Nami"

Hello there. Is the thumb latch on the inside pull perfectly centered between the two mounting screws on the base of the handle? If so, then yes, our 82-030A will work. If the thumb lever is 'offset' closer to the bottom screw than the top, however, then see the 82-030B. Let me know if you have further questions.

I have a related question: my left-handed sliding door has an offset (below center) lever (inside). So how can 82-030B work on a left handed door, since the keyed handle will be on the outside, and upon turning the keyed handle upside down to work on my door, the keyhole would be offset to above the center (not below). Do you sell the offset keyed handle kit for left-handed sliding doors?

Hello there. The 82-030B is meant to work for either a left- or right-handed sliding door. You can simply flip the inside pull to get the position of the pull how you want it, then install the handle with the thumb lever towards the bottom end so that it is in the correct position. Let me know if that makes sense or if you have further questions.
