Replace sliding patio door handle with keyed lock

Handy Person from Woodbridge, VA
Hi,

I have a sliding glass patio door - don't know the manufacturer but think it's probably from about 1995. I'd like to have a keyed lock on the outside. Per attached pictures, the door frame is about 2" wide x 1" deep. The existing handle screws are about 6-1/2" apart and set back a little over 1" (I'd prefer not to have to drill new holes). The latch appears to be recessed into the door frame and the keeper sticks out to meet it when the door is closed.

Do you all have a handle and keyed lock that I could replace the current handle with - preferably using the existing screw holes in the door frame?

Thanks...

Hello, Bran. I feel pretty confident that we have something that matches your specifications. Start with our 82-002K. This has a similar design, though the hole spacing is 6-5/8", not 6-1/2". I would double check just in case. Make sure to measure from the center of each hole, not their edges.

Assuming the hole spacing is a match, you should also be able to reuse your old wood pull. Let me know if you have any questions!
