Replace truth crank with folding crank

Quick Learner from Denver
I wish to replace a truth crank 45001 with a foldable crank. Can the crank and cover be replaced without having to pull the wood?

Thanks for posting. I'm afraid your operator looks like the type where the cover is not really meant to be replaced, as is the case unfortunately with some older designs. There is a folding handle that should be compatible with this assembly though--see our 39-205. Look it over and let me know if you'd be OK going with this. Otherwise, there's really no getting around replacing the entire operator--but depending on what you have you still might be limited to just going with a folding handle or T handle; there simply might not be a nested handle and cover compatible with this design. Apologies for any inconvenience.

That's what I thought. Either replace the entire assembly or just stick a foldable handle on it. Will order that 39-205. Thank you!
