Hello,

Our company does not manufacture windows. We are a third-party retailer for replacement parts. With that being said, it looks like a top sash guide may have broken, allowing the balance to shoot out of the window jamb. If so, we'd need to see an intact top sash guide removed from the other side or an identical window to compare to our inventory. Thank you!
