Replacement Anderson Sash Balance

Looking to replace both left & right units.
I found this number on the left one:
BP8 12#27 3-85
Is that sufficient to find a replacement part #?

Sure, that information is perfect, actually. See our 24-1231. This can replace Andersen balance boxes marked with "12#27."

Just to be sure the 1231 will work for both left and right?

Yes, this balance can work on either side.
